Soup Kitchen:The soup kitchen at Georgetown Bread Basket continues to go well. Close to seventy five people are served vegetable chili, bread and pastries every month. Those who would like to participate in soup kitchens may please advise toronto@ammacanada.ca as.

Recreational activities for children at risk: In May 2009, volunteers from Amma’s Toronto group rented a bus and accompanied thirty seven children from downtown Toronto to Niagara Falls for a whole day picnic which included a ride on the Maid of the Mist and supper at a restaurant in the Niagara Falls area. This was followed by similar picnics to the Lions Safari Park in 2010 and to Canada Heritage Park in 2011. These trips have given the children as well as the volunteers precious memories which they will always treasure.

St. Felix CentreThe soup kitchen at St. Felix Centre in downtown Toronto is conducted once a month during the winter. Every month, lunch was prepared and served to twenty five 'children at risk' who live in the neighbourhood and their mentors.

Donation to Links2Care The Toronto youth group of Amma Canada (AYUDH) collected a sum of $300 as a special gesture for the Christmas season and donated the amount to Links2Care to be used to buy gifts for a specific family.
